Thanks to everyone who submitted their “Dad Selfie” for our annual Father’s Day contest.  And a huge congratulations to our grand prize winner – Lara Buchmann-Duck!

I know Lara’s dad Peter as our local waste management and recycling rock star who has been a big part of the Towards Zero Waste initiatives we see at a lot of special events in town. Of course, Lara knows her dad in a much more personal way and says he’s been a great father to her and her sister.
