Ryan Titchener Fundraiser - A Night of Mountain Film

Ryan Titchener is an apprentice mountain guide that has lived every climber’s nightmare. While exploring the Bugaboos with his girlfriend a boulder somehow became dislodged and rolled on top of him.

Ryan’s sister Kim is known to many locals for her previous work with Bow Valley WildSmart and her current career as a wildlife consultant with Bear Safety & More. She joined me on the show to talk about the good luck that followed the bad which allowed him to survive this freak accident, albeit with serious injuries. She also spoke about an event at artsPlace this Thursday featuring two mountain films and a silent auction to help raise money for his rehabilitation and care.
