On August 31st Banffites Scott Walker, Tyler Williams, and Masaki Yokota will be hiking up Sulphur Mountain 9 times as a fundraiser for the International Bipolar Foundation and Banff Rotary Club.  This full day of endurance hiking for a cause has become an annual tradition for these guys, having completed two previous ‘4 Peaks Challenges’ in 2015 and 2016.

I spoke with the trio about this year’s event, how they’ve been preparing, and why the theme of Challenging Consistency is important when it comes to mental health awareness.

For more information, to make a pledge, and to possibly join the guys for one of their legs up Sulphur, visit Scott’s website.
