Alberta's Ombudsman visits Canmore

Alberta’s Ombudsman, Peter Hourihan, will be spending the day in Canmore on Monday and his office is taking appointments for people who feel they’ve been treated unfairly by the provincial government and have exhausted all other appeals.

Peter told me this could also include people who are dissatisfied with their flood settlement from the Disaster Recovery Program.

Ombudsman investigators will be available to meet face-to-face with locals at the Canmore Civic Centre between 11am and 4pm Monday.  Appointments are necessary – call 1-888-455-2756.  Peter will also be doing a public presentation in Council Chambers Monday from 1 – 2pm.  Visit the Alberta Ombudsman website for more information on this department.
