Canmore Commons is a new online presence organized by former Highline Magazine founder Kristy Davison and former Calgary Herald journalist Colette Derworiz.  These two Canmore residents started this up in response to the myriad of stories and sometimes complicated issues related to the expansion plans for Three Sisters Mountain Village and Silvertip.  The aim of Canmore Commons is to inform, inspire and empower the people of Canmore to become more engaged in ensuring the long term viability of our community.

I spoke with Kristy and Colette about their new project and how people can stay informed and engaged with decisions that will affect our community for generations to come.

Click here for the website and sign up for the newsletter to stay informed about stories related to development, wildlife, and open houses and public meetings on those issues.  You can also follow them on Twitter.
