Three Sisters Corridor Map

Three Sisters Mountain Village (TSMV) is currently working on their Area Structure Plan for Smith Creek, the final three developable lots in the area that will stretch all the way to Dead Man’s Flats on the other side of the highway. Part of this process is determining the alignment of the final wildlife corridor in the area. The developer has submitted the above map along with an application to Alberta Environment and Parks, the provincial body responsible for ultimately making the corridor alignment decision.

Tanya and I discuss the ‘slope off’ between TSMV and local conservation groups, why Canmore and town council is not responsible for this decision, and how you can have your say.

TSMV will be holding an open house at the Coast Hotel on March 16th from 3 – 5 PM and 6 – 8 PM.  You can also submit your feedback online here.
