Moving for Health

Carol Poulin and her grandson Jaden have been five year residents of Canmore and are looking for a little help.

Suffering from a rare disease (CVID) that leaves her without a working immune system her doctor has advised a move to the warmer climate of Vancouver Island.  But a gap between disability benefits has left her unable to cover basic short-term expenses like rent and food.

Her son Patrick joined me on air to talk about her mom’s condition and ask for some community support.
