Plogging 2020

Strides Canmore is organizing their annual Plogging event this year – that is, jogging or walking while picking up trash.  For obvious reasons, their annual get-together won’t be happening but they’re still encouraging people to take part in this activity by themselves or with their family.

I spoke with Kylie McKendrick who talked about the initiative and how people can submit their Plogging photos for prizes.  We also spoke about how Strides is continuing to operate during this time.

So grab a garbage bag and head outside to jog or walk and pick up garbage. Take pics and tag #plog2020. Once done, throw your garbage bag in a town bin and email Kylie with your number of bags collected. Strides Canmore will draw door prizes on May 15th for all Ploggers!
