The music video for ‘Stereo’, featuring scenes from their first ever performance in Canmore at the Canmore Hotel.

Ten years ago a group of musicians in Fernie, B.C. decided to turn a regular jam session into something more cohesive to open for another act touring through their town.  This collaboration became Shred Kelly, one of the Canadian Rockies’ most energetic and engaging live acts.  These Bow Valley favourites are reaching into the archives for their set list at The Drake in Canmore on Friday night (November 29th) and Wild Bill’s in Banff on Saturday (November 30th).

I spoke with Sage McBride about how far they’ve come in the last decade, the added challenges of touring with a baby, their last show in Canmore, and why they love playing in our area.

Doors at 9 PM for both shows.  Advance tickets for Canmore are available here, for Banff you can get them here.
