Mayor Borrowman was back on with Tanya and I to discuss:

-Some of the similar issues we face alongside many other mountain and tourist communities and a couple of areas where we’re ahead of the curve.

 

-New Town board and committee appointments and their importance in dictating the direction of Canmore’s future.

 

-How the provincial budget may affect Canmore’s bottom line.

 

-The November 12th Land Use Bylaw public hearing and why this big document has far-ranging affects on nearly everyone who lives here.

 

Tanya and I also spoke about Banff council’s discussions around relocating the ‘Banff’ entrance sign.
