Banff International String Quartet Competition underway at Banff Centre

The Banff International String Quartet Competition (BISQC) is underway at Banff Centre until September 1st, bringing some of the top string quartets in the world to our backyard to compete for cash prizes, exposure, and career development.

BISQC Director Barry Shiffman joined me on the show this morning to talk about the amazing opportunity these musicians receive and the amazing experience audiences have watching talent at the top of their game.
