Mayor Sorensen on parking pitch, Bear Street, and assessments

I had the chance to speak with Banff Mayor Karen Sorensen about this week’s busy council meeting.  We spoke about Liricon Capital’s big pitch to the community – a massive intercept parking lot, resident-only downtown parking, and a gondola to Norquay.  We also spoke about the discussion around the redesign of Bear Street and the recent increase to most people’s property assessments.
