Tanya and I had the pleasure of welcoming back the newly re-elected Canmore Mayor John Borrowman on the show for our monthly conversation about topics in our community.

With only two major contenders left for the 2026 Winter Olympics, Calgary (and Canmore by proxy) would have a pretty good shot at those Games if we wanted them.  We spoke about the nearly billion-dollar cash injection the IOC is promising the host city and where we’re at with those discussions locally:

 

With Spring Creek Drive nearly finished, Mayor Borrowman says he’s looking forward to experiencing the functionality of that new ‘complete street’, a template of things to come for Railway Avenue in 2018:
