Mountain FM is thrilled to present the sold-out show featuring Banff’s own Amelie Patterson and The Doll Sisters from Edmonton this Saturday at artsPlace.

Amelie’s hard work in the music business over the past for years has been paying off – she’s been garnering attention and airplay outside of the Bow Valley and recently won ‘Alternative Recording of the Year’ at the YYC Music Awards.  We spoke about her growth as both a musician and a businessperson.  She’s also thrilled to be able to share a bill with The Doll Sisters, a duo that she says will become a ‘national treasure’.  She brought her guitar and shared a couple of tunes on air with us, including her new one The Patient Kind:

She also performed an awesome cover of Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains), one of my favourite Arcade Fire songs:

While Saturday’s show may be sold-out there are still tickets left for the final concert in the Mountain FM Presents: Fall Concert Series featuring The Raven & The Fox and Kyle Pullan on November 4th.  Get them while you can!
