The federal government is proposing a number of tax changes that would affect small businesses across the country.  While some say that this is an effort to close loopholes and enable the wealthy to pay their fair share, others are concerned that this sweeping overhaul to the Canadian tax system will make life overly complicated for business owners who are working hard to get by.

Canmore Chartered Accountant Natalie Kelly has been an outspoken critic of the government’s plan.  She joined me on the show this morning to talk about the proposed changes and raise concern that the public consultation period, which is set to close Monday, October 2nd, is too short for such a major overhaul.
