NHL Centennial Fan Arena in Banff

The NHL Centennial Fan Arena is making a special stop in Banff this weekend!

Head to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel Soccer Field between July 28th and 30th to check out some ball hockey, a big display of memorabilia in their interactive museum trailer, autograph signings with NHL players, the Clear the Ice Zamboni VR Experience, games, and more.  I spoke with Mark Black, NHL Vice President of International Operations, about this event.

Stop by the NHL Centennial Fan arena between 11 AM and 7 PM this Friday and Saturday and 11 AM to 4 PM Sunday.  Admission is free but parking is very limited on site so you’re encouraged to park at the Fenlands and catch the Roam bus. This event is being held in conjunction with Glen Sather’s golf tournament in support of the Banff YWCA and Banff Canmore Community Foundation Monday.  He’ll be bringing in the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Grant Fuhr, Theo Fleury, and more to Banff so you never know who might pop by!
