First Thursday: Not in the Pink

The Town of Canmore Arts and Events department have lined up a compelling presentation for this month’s First Thursday series. Visual artist Tina Martel will be showcasing her award-winning sketchbook Not In The Pink, detailing her journey through treatments for breast cancer.

I spoke with Tina who told me the finished product is a deeply personal piece that shines truth on the difficulty cancer patients feel going through treatments and expressing their thoughts and feelings to those around them.
