Canmore Eagles playoff hockey begins tonight

For the first time in nine years the Canmore Eagles have home ice advantage in the first round of the AJHL playoffs!  Our first opponent – the Drumheller Dragons.

Eagles Head Coach/GM Andrew Milne says the team is ready to go for this evening’s first game. They’ve been practicing a lot of 5-on-5 hockey this week as he expects the Dragons to play disciplined hockey and therefore the Eagles won’t be able to rely on their #1 ranked Power Play to get them through.

Puck drops at 7 PM tonight and tomorrow for Games 1 and 2 of this best-of-five series.
