The Sherwood Park Crusaders pay a visit to Canmore to take on our Eagles Saturday night. On paper the teams look evenly matched with similar season win records, five of the top six AJHL scorers between us, strong goaltending, and both riding solid winning streaks into this weekend.  But I’m feeling confident in the ability of the Canmore Eagles to win this one, enough so that I was willing to engage in a bit of a war of words on Twitter with Strathcona County Mayor Roxanne Carr.

Mayor Carr joined me on the show this morning where we decided to put our money where our mouths are and make a friendly wager of gift baskets filled with products from our respective communities.

May the best team win this Saturday!  And by the best team I’m clearly referring to the Canmore Eagles 😉
