Secrets of an Island Girl

Banff local Jean Roberts has just released her first book, a memoir called Secrets of an Island Girl: How I Lost and Found my Mind in Paradise. A story about Jean’s life as a young girl on the island of Grenada, she writes about how a life of abandonment, abuse, and a mental breakdown lead her to a better life in the Canadian Rockies.

Jean joined me on-air to talk about her new book and the launch event coming up on Monday.
